Best place to live in Denver downtown submitted by Min Y. - |Recommended: YesI lived here for an year and there were some problems with hot water, elevators, and the laundry machine card reader. It was not the best to live here this year, however, all those problems are fixed and I am planning to live here in the following year.
Great Apartmentssubmitted by Ariana - |Recommended: YesYou're getting the most for your money here. Maintenance and staff and very accommodating. The noise level is similar to any other apartment complexbut nothing crazy. There's good security tooyou need a fob to enter the building and get to your floor.

Safe, clean and professionalsubmitted by Chrysta R. - |Recommended: YesMy daughter lived here as a freshman and is renewing her lease again as a sophomore. I feel 100 comfortable with her living away from home. This is a very secure building and the management is professional and responsive to both my daughter as a tenant and me as her parent guarantor. I am so pleased we chose Auraria for her college living experience. It seems they work very well with young people learning to live away from home also which is great.

Clean Friendly Environmentsubmitted by Caleb D. - |Recommended: YesYou'll either have one roommate, or three, based on available floor plans. Either way they will be students like yourself. Your bedroom window, assuming you got lucky and received a room with the large window, the view is amazing overlooking the city. Heat A C along with a dishwater, oven, microwave, and fridge included. Easy access washers dyers for a very-small fee. Overall I rate Auraria Lofts 7 10.

Great location, luxury amenity living, secure building, friendly staffsubmitted by Gabriella S. - |Recommended: YesI spent my first three years in Denver living at the lofts. I didn't ever regret my choice to renew my lease here, and was sad to turn my keys in this month. When I moved to Denver, I didn't know anyone so the lofts was a perfect choice for my living community. I met three of my very best friends while living here. While I have heard some residents complain about the property management -- I have never had a poor experience. And in my experiences, when I did have a problem arise, ASL was always quick to find a resolution that made sense for both of us. As far as the actual property goes Security -- Building is very secure. I never once felt unsafe while living here. Main doors require a key fob to pass through, and every apartment main door has a lock, as well as each bedroom door having its own individual lock. The only thing that bothered me was other residents that would let people follow them into the building. Each and every time I had a guest over, I had to go downstairs to let them in. Everyone else should too for the sake of safety. Cleanliness -- Building was always kept in top shape. Housekeeping did a TREMENDOUS job keeping this place in tip top shape, especially considering that they were dealing with college students who sometimes didn't respect the area as they should. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the carpets in the hallways of each apartment floor. Amenity Space -- LOVE the pool area. Resort style feel -- one of my favorite places to be in the summer. They have since extended the hours of the pool to 10 used to be 8 , which I love. Gym is smaller, but is never packed and has new, functioning equipment. Study rooms were one of my favorite places, too. Never had to go to the library with this right in our building. Apartment -- When I first moved in here, I thought the apartment was small, especially for four people. But let me tell you, I was wrong. I've since moved out on my own into a studio and I can tell you the apartments at ASL are good sized. Layout is functional. I dislike that the living area and kitchen did not have windows and only had natural light if all of the bedroom doors were left open which was not the case usually. Four bedroom apartments have two bathrooms, so you only have to share with one person and vanities are outside of shower toilet area which is great. Some of the rooms have smaller windows, but they still provide a lot of light. Kitchens have a lot of cabinet space. My only suggestion would be updating the living room furniture -- not comfortable. Maintenance -- I love the maintenance team at ASL. Every single time I have ever put in a work order, it is fixed within the next 24 hours. Love their promptness, and efficiency. Location -- ASL is situated in a perfect location for anyone attending the Auraria campus. Just a short walk to campus, 16th Street Mall, Union Station, Coors Field and the Pepsi Center. Parking -- This is the only thing that I can't rate ASL 5 stars on. The parking situation is tough. However, with the convenient location, a car is not particularly necessary. It was for me, because of my job. But parking is at a premium here, one of the main reasons I had to look for housing elsewhere this year prices were rising with the company I parked with . If you're new to the Auraria campus, Denver area or just looking for a friendly student community to call home, Auraria Student Lofts is a great choice. You won't be disappointed. Great stepping stone into solo apartment living.
